This is another exceptional watercolour from the J. Barrie Haste collection - 1931-2011.

This very well-respected West Yorkshire artist spent some of his time touring Europe painting scenes from various locations.

This one is of a harbour setting in Sicily.

The image measures approx 7.5 inches x 11 inches (19cms x 28cms) and is supplied with a hand-cut waterline mount using Artcare mountboard to help protect the painting from deterioration, enabling the purchaser to frame as required. The border surround adds about an extra 4/5cms to each side.

It is signed by the Artist at the bottom right hand side. Verso: 'Cefalu, Sicily' by the Artist.

These paintings can be supplied glazed and framed at the buyer's expense; this will, of course, add to shipping costs for international customers, though the UK delivery charges will remain FREE. Sadly, the artist died earlier this year. These paintings form the residual stock and are offered 'as is' - other than the mounting which we provide as an extra service but at no extra cost.
