Artware Collectables is a small but dedicated company based in Halifax, West Yorkshire which has grown over the last few years, expanding its stock to offer a wide range of china/porcelain/earthenware products, sourced mainly in the UK. We strive to buy in the UK from UK manufacturers.
Our emphasis has been on the traditional and long-standing importance of such companies and, although too many have long gone, many of their creations do survive and from those manufacturers that remain, there is a growing selection available.
We were, initially, closely associated with one such manufacturer, Carlton Ware, having been thrilled by their products but only at arm's length. Some pieces dating back almost 100 years have endured and, as more exciting items were added, the popularity of this company grew and grew. Today, it is a somewhat different entity with a much reduced presence in the marketplace. Artware Collectables obtained the licence to produce, the entire range of Carlton figurines but this was terminated after 12 months and the firm of Carlton Ware went into limbo. So now, Artware Collectables is producing its own products using the skilled staff working in Stoke-on-Trent for Carlton. All our products are now protected by registered copyright number 284659785.
